INSTRUCTIONS AND GUIDELINES for COMMUNICATIONS and GENERAL ASSEMBLY:
The detailed instructions for oral and poster presentations are given in this section. Please read them carefully. This is a hybrid meeting and ZOOM will be used thoroughly all the meeting for sharing both on site and on line communications. Two zoom links (one for each parallel session) will be shared lately by email to all participants. An additional and independent Zoom link only available for fellows of the “Grupo de Electroquímica-Real Sociedad Española de Química” will be provided lately for participating at the General Assembly GE-RSEQ.
Furthermore, we would like to ask all speakers to download and install the latest Zoom version in their computer, since using Zoom from a web browser does not support all Zoom functionalities!
All communications will be presented ON LIVE. Thus, recording is NOT allowed in this meeting.
GUIDELINES FOR ORAL COMMUNICATIONS:
Oral speakers please prepare your presentation according to the time scheduled (see Table below) and strictly adhere to these time limits. If not, the presentation will be stopped by the chairperson. This will provide enough time for presenting your work; giving some time for questions, plus some overhead for switching to the next speaker.
-Presentation will take place as ZOOM MEETING SESSION. Speakers, session chairperson and audience will all have direct access to the Zoom room. The audience will be able to watch the talk and submit their questions via Zoom Q/A tool.
-Please make sure the slides are numbered so that one could refer to a particular slide easily.
-Please use your full name and surname so that it will be easy to identify you as speakers or session chairs.
-Please turn on your video while presenting your work; this will make the presentation more personal.
You will be sharing your presentation using the “Share Screen” function in Zoom while presenting. When using the Zoom app, this is simply done by clicking on the green “Share Screen” button at the bottom center of the Zoom app. Then, select the window (for example, PowerPoint) that you would like to share. If you typically use more than one screen in your office set-up, please make sure you get familiarized with the sharing function in advance.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are using Mac OS and want to use the full-screen mode, please make sure you share your whole screen, not a particular window only. Otherwise, your presentation will not be visible to other participants.
GUIDELINES FOR POSTER COMMUNICATIONS:
All posters (ON LINE and ON SITE) will be displayed during the entire conference in the meeting website and a specific poster session for questioning the poster authors will take place by Zoom on Thursday 8th July 2021 at 2 pm.
In order to encourage you to do your best in this hybrid Poster Session, we will have amazing POSTER PRIZES for those giving their best in presenting posters!
GUIDELINES FOR FLASH POSTER COMMUNICATIONS during Atelier/Workshop on July 9:
FLASH POSTER PRESENTATION: They are expected to be based on a short set of slides that last 5 minutes with no questions pursued. A 5 minutes questions session for all presenters will take place at the end of the flash poster session.
